About Klara

"Skincare is my passion, as well as my profession."

Hi, I’m Klara!

As an aesthetic specialist with two decades of personal and professional experience researching and practicing the science behind achieving healthy-youthful-glowing skin, science-based skincare has become my passion.

It all started in my teens. I struggled with skin problems for many years, so choosing to study skincare was a ‘klear’ path. I quickly learned that my desire to learn about skin cells and the science behind product formulations separates me from other aestheticians. I truly understand (and have lived with) the pain of problem skin.

In my teens, I struggled with severe acne and scarring on my face and
body, leaving me humiliated, frustrated, and powerless. A relentless search for solutions found me wrongfully trusting random skincare ‘professionals’ who sold me all kinds of products and treatments that didn’t work. As a result of these frustrating experiences, I decided to obtain an education in aesthetics and solve my own struggles. This passion and decision lead me to continue my studies at some of the most significant industry institutions available. The quest for result-oriented, quality information is always at the forefront of my mind.

Now that I’m in my late forties, I’m noticing this decade brings on its own challenges to my generation of women. I see drier skin leading to more wrinkles and fine lines. Our faces have started losing fat around the mouth, chin, and jawline, making us look deflated and tired. Like my original motivation, feeling the skin struggles along with my clientele has sparked my drive to research restoring fullness and maintaining our skin’s elasticity in a less invasive and more natural way.

Mature women should embrace their age rather than fear it.

My active mission is to educate women about midlife skincare fundamentals and empower them to make educated decisions about their skin health. I hope to urge them past the newest trends and enable them to understand their skin at a cellular level.

All that said, skincare is simply one aspect of the puzzle. Nutrition has a significant impact on how we appear and feel. I find the link between proper nutrition and its effects on our skin fascinating. Lifestyle, diet and excellent skincare – it’s what fuels me. Seeing the smile on a satisfied client’s face, knowing I have helped them to feel radiant, healthy and glowing – It’s what rewards me.

I play no favourites, recommending only what is suitable for each client. Together, we will build a skincare plan, not around the products but the person—personalized treatments using high quality serums and equipment designed to target your specific needs and concerns best.

Hope to see you soon in my treatment room.
